It's Back--Petpalooza!

Each year, it gets bigger and better.  Fun for the whole family including babes and fur babies, it’s not uncommon to spend the whole day at Game Farm Park!

On Saturday, May 19th the big day begins with a 3K/5K Dog Trot at 9:30AM.  Registration on the day of the event is $25 and is a great way for both owners and pets to get their juices flowing.

Then from 10AM – 5PM, there will be a petting zoo, pony rides for the kids, pig races, art activities, live animal entertainment, and Mud Bay’s Northwest Pet Contest!

1. Get Your Energetic Pet Rested by Participating in the Dog Trot.

Dog Trot is a family-oriented Fun Run event that takes place in conjunction with Petpalooza beginning at 9:30AM. Registration on the event day is $25. Participants will follow a 3K or 5K route. The 'chip-timed' course is flat, easy and enjoyable for all ages. Water will be available on the course for both dog and human participants.

2. Get There Early to Find Parking in and around Game Farm Park.

This is a wildly popular event!  You can bet the parking will fill up early.  So if you get there after mid-day, parking might be available across the street in the residential area only.  Please take great care when crossing R Street as it is a very busy arterial road.

3. Feel free to pack snacks for you and your pet.

Sure,  there will be food vendors and pup treat giveaways while supplies last.  Yet lines can be long, and it may be hot and sunny, so also plan to stay hydrated!

4. Bring Plenty of Bags.

Your pet is bound to need to relieve themselves, so for the enjoyment of all attendees, prompt clean up and disposal will prevent any mishaps when walking around the park.

5.  Let Your Pet Strut Their Stuff.

This a chance to show off your fur baby!  Costumes, scarves and other fun pet appropriate clothing is welcome. Don't be surprised if you have adoring fans wanting to snap some Instagram worthy photos of your pet!  Be sure to add the tags #AuburnAdventures and #ExploreAuburn to your own fun narrative.
