Be prepared for a colorful pageantry, heartfelt music, and beautiful horses.  Fiesta Premio Esmeralda pays tribute to the rich Latino/a culture of many of the workers who tend to the horses, the jockeys, and the Charros (Mexican cowboys) as well as the people who appreciate the talents and beauty of the horses.

This event has tremendous significance for all of us here at Emerald Downs, so we really go all out to make sure the Latino community has an awesome and culturally relevant experience. It is very important to us that everyone enjoys this event as together we share the love for the horse culture and equestrian sports.” -Phil Ziegler, CEO of Emerald Downs
